ONGOLE: As a part of the 12th five-year plan, the Central government has invited applications for establishing an integrated textile park in Prakasam district. The proposals can be made by industrial associations, entrepreneur associations and special purpose vehicles (SPV).
The applicants should own at least 100 acres of land and 50 industrialists, who can afford to invest approximately `200-250 crore. The investors may be offered grants up to `40 crore and they are also eligible for other concessions.
Proposals have to be submitted through project management consultancy (PMC) to RK Srivatsava, Textile Park Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, 339-B, Udyogbhavan, New Delhi, before 5 pm, July 7. For details applicants may visit www.texmin.nic.in
