VIJAYAWADA: The South Eastern Railway has extended the services of 10 weekly special trains between Santragachi and Chennai to clear the extra rush of passengers. According to a press release, Santragachi-Chennai Weekly Special Train (02807) will leave Santragachi at 7 pm on Thursdays (July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31) and reach Chennai at 10.45 pm the next day. It will arrive at/depart Vijayawada at 2.50/3.05 pm (Friday).
Chennai-Santragachi Weekly Special Train (02808) will leave Chennai at 7.55 am on Saturdays (July 5, 12, 19, 26 and August 2) and reach Santragachi at 10.25 am the next day. It will arrive at/depart Vijayawada at 2.15/2.35 pm( Saturday).
En route, the trains will halt at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepallegudem, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Sulluerpeta stations in both the directions.
