Janimuna Shaik is Guntur Zilla Parishad Chairperson

GUNTUR: Kakumanu ZPTC Janimuna Shaik (TDP) and Tadikonda ZPTC Vadlamudi Purna Chandra Rao (TDP) were elected as the chairperson and vice-chairman of the district during the ZP chief elections held here Saturday.

On the occasion, Janimuna Shaik said that she would strive for resolving the issues in the district and contribute for its development. Vice-chairman Purna Chandra Rao assured that he would give special focus to the problems being faced by the citizens.

Agriculture minister Prathipati Pulla Rao urged the officials to strive for the development of the district since it had a special place in the state.

District collector Suresh Kumar called up on the officials and ZP members to work in harmony in executing developmental activities. MLAs D Narendra Kumar and K Sridhar, MLC K Lakshmana Rao, trainee collector Siva Rao and ZP CEO B Subba Rao were present.
