VIZIANAGARAM: A 45-year-old unidentified person committed suicide in A-1 coach toilet of Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha Express.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) have recovered the body at the Vizianagaram railway station and sent it to the government hospital for postmortem.

The attendant of the A-1 coach found the body when the train was chugging into Vizianagaram from Visakhapatnam. On TTE’s complaint, the police checked the passengers’ list of A-1 coach and also the baggage in the coach. Thereupon, the police confirmed that the deceased was not a bona fide passenger. After making enquiries with the passengers and examining the condition of the body, the police suspect that the deceased boarded the train before Vizag. The police found a sticker of New Raymond Tailors, M Nagar on his shirt. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
