Chit Fund Victims to Meet Devineni Uma

As many as 100 people, who were cheated by Shubhadarsi Estate chit fund, gathered at the Press Club to decide on their future course of action.

VIJAYAWADA: As many as 100 people, who were cheated by Shubhadarsi Estate chit fund company earlier this month, gathered at the Press Club here Monday to decide on their future course of action.

The victims of the chit fund company are planning to meet the Irrigation minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao in this regard.

“We have met here today to know each other and to decide on what to do further,” said K S Sankara Rao, one of the victims. He added that they were planning to meet the Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, and proceed according to his directions.

It may be recalled here that Shubhadarsi Estates is a chit fund company, located at Labbipet, which closed down its office on July 1st without paying back money to the people who invested there.
