Cement Strike to Continue Till July 19

CREDAI has decided to extend their cement purchase holiday till July 19 to protest against increase in cement prices.

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) has decided to extend their cement purchase holiday till July 19 to protest against increase in cement prices. The CREDAI members observed a one-week protest and stopped purchasing cement since July 5. As there was no response from the cement manufacturers association (CMA) on the price issue, the joint action committee has decided to extend the protest by another week.

The joint action committee includes all the CREDAI chapters of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (TREDA), AP Real Estate Developers Association (APREDA), Telangana Builders Forum (TBF) and Builders Association of India (BAI).
