SRIKAKULAM: Gourav Uppal will take charge as the new collector of Srikakulam district Monday. He was given a warm welcome when he arrived here by joint collector G Veerapandian, additional joint collector Mohammed Haseem Shareef, district revenue officer Noor Bhasha Khaseem, ITDA project officer N Satyanarayana, other officials and staff of the collectorate at the zilla parishad guest house here Sunday.
Speaking to the newsmen, Gourav promised to develop the district on all fronts for which he sought people’s support. He also asked other officials to work hard.
