MP Blames AP CM for Centre's Anti-T Stance

NALGONDA: Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhendar Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu is putting pressure on Central government to not cooperate with Telangana state.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, he said TDP’s stand against Telangana became clear at APNGO’s meeting. He asked Telangana TDP leaders to quit the party since Chandrababu Naidu’s moves against Telangana state, like power supply and Polavaram, are coming out openly. The MP said that he was not against Polavaram project, but demands change in the design to reduce the submergence of villages.

He demanded the Centre to collect opinions of tribals whose villages are going to be submerged before taking a decision on Polavaram project. If the government takes an anti-people stand, tribals will turn to revolutionary route, he warned. He demanded all Telangana MPs to oppose the Polavaram Bill in Rajya Sabha.
