AMALAPURAM: Tension prevailed at the Area Hospital when the body of an engineering student was brought for autopsy. The police had a tough time to control the students at the hospital. Later, the body was handed over to his parents who took it to Salur in Vizianagaram district.
Second year B.Tech student A Navya Kranthi Kumar allegedly committed suicide in his room at Komaragiripatnam Saturday, alleging that the college lecturer insulted him in the class. He is studying in BVC Engineering College at Odalarevu.
Earlier Saturday, the enraged students damaged the college buses on the college premises.
