VIJAYAWADA: All Minority Employees Welfare Association of Andhra Pradesh (All MEWA), Vijayawada, presented a memorandum to chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the problems faced by the Muslim employees in the state.
In a release, All MEWA state secretary MS Imam Basha said that they had submitted the memorandum to the CM in Hyderabad on July 13 and the demands include a `10,000-crore sub-plan for the Muslims, a Haj house in Vijayawada, Urdu as the second official language in Andhra Pradesh, 10 per cent reservation for the Muslims, provision of scholarships to students and other issues.
