RAJAHMUNDRY: As many as 1.39 lakh cubic metres of water was released into the Bay of Bengal from Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage at Dowleswaram Sunday. All the 175 gates at Dowleswaram, Bobbarlanka, Madduru and Vijjeswaram arms of the barrage were lifted to release the water. Currently, the water level at the barrage is 11 feet.
