SRIKAKULAM: One died in a road mishap at Vandrada on the highway in Kotabommali mandal of the district Sunday.
According to sources, Prapulla Kumar Maharana of Damanjodi area of Koraput district in Odisha, was travelling to Tekkali from Srikakulam along with his wife Vishnupriya Maharana and daughter Jayanthi by a car, which hit a lorry going in the front. Vishnupriya died on the spot, while Prapulla Kumar and his daughter sustained injuries. The injured were taken to a hospital near srikakulam. Their condition is said to be stable.
The Kotabommali police registered a case and are investigating.
