Kamakhya-B’lore Spl Trains in August

In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, North Frontier Railway will run Eight Weekly Premium Special trains between Kamakhya (Assam) and Bangalore Catonment during the month of August, 2014.

VIJAYAWADA: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, North Frontier Railway will run Eight Weekly Premium Special trains between Kamakhya (Assam) and Bangalore Catonment during the month of August, 2014.

According to a press note released by Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada, all the trains which head towards Bangalore Cantonment from Kamakya will commence its journey on every Saturday in the month of August. Train number 02510 Kamakhya-Bangalore Cantonment will depart from Kamakhya at 08.30 pm Saturday (2, 9, 16 and 23 August) and will reach the Bangalore Cantonment at 10.30 pm Monday (4,11,18 and 25 August). It will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 07.55 am/08.05 am. Train number 02509 Bangalore Cantonment-Kamakhya Train will depart from Bangalore Cantonment at 10.45 am Tuesday (5, 12, 19 and 26 August) and will reach Kamakhya at 11.15 am Thursday (7, 14, 21 and 28 August). It will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 11.55 pm/12.05 am (Tuesday/Wednesday).

The trains will halt at New Bongaigaon, Raninagar, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Bardhaman, Bhattanagar, Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi and Jolarpettai stations, covering Assam, West Bengal, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

It will consist of ten Sleeper Class coaches, four AC 3 Tier, one Pantry Car and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
