GUNTUR: District collector Kantilal Dande has exhorted the students to make use of the free books being distributed by the Bharat Sevashram Sangham (BSS), Hyderabad. Giving away the books to the students at KSRT Municipal Corporation Primary School here Monday, the collector appreciated the BSS for its contribution to the poor and for serving as an inspiration for students. “The BSS is distributing books in Nuzendla, Durgi and Veldurthi mandals in the district in the coming days,” he added.

Osmania University professor Battacharya informed that the BSS has 50 branches across India and 12 abroad. District revenue officers K Nagababu, Swamy Muniswarananda, Guntur Municipal Corporation commissioner Nagaveni, schoolteachers and students participated.
