VIJAYAWADA: Venkataramana Trade Fair Dasara Festival Exhibition 2014 will be held in Vijayawada from Sunday. The exhibition will have handicrafts and handloom products from 14 states. Besides handicrafts and garments of all varieties, products like consumer durables, fast moving consumer goods, educational items, health and medical products, among others will be made available in more than 150 stalls.Besides sale of goods and products, amusement facilities and eateries are set up to entertain people. About 28 types of amusement rides are established to entertain children.

“A replica of the Amarnath yatra is designed to provide the yatra experience to people in the expo. About 350 artisans and workers toiled for more than a month to prepare Amarnath set. Also ‘snow world’ which is found only in metro cities is recreated in the expo,” explained Raja Reddy, organiser of the expo. The expo will be for 45 days.
