VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada municipal corporation commissioner C Harikiran has urged people to cooperate with the officials by giving complete details that are required during the survey that is being conducted to find out details on the present tax, toilets in every house and count of water taps in 32 wards.
Speaking to reporters at the VMC chamber Friday, he said that the officials are going to conduct the survey in both residential and commercial buildings. “The experimental survey will be conducted by the deputy commissioner (revenue), assistant commissioner and public health officers, in order to regularise the D&O trade license. It is necessary to check the payment of tax by commercial buildings and the payment of professional tax by the people working in various organizations at the commercial buildings in these wards,” he said Deputy commissioner (revenue) D Venkata Lakshmi, executive engineer GRT Om Prakash, assiatant commissioner T Ram Gopal, health officer D Gopal Naik and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
