MACHILIPATNAM: BC welfare and excise minister Konakalla Narayana Rao inaugurated closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras at Robertsonpet (R pet) police station here Sunday. The CCTV cameras were installed with the MPLAD funds at 16 junctions across the town including Koneru Centre, railway station, RTC bus stand, district government hospital, parks, District Court Centre, Lakshmi Talkies Centre, Challarastha Centre and Rajupet. Krishna district collector M Raghunandan Rao and superintendent of police J Prabhakara Rao were present at the inaugural of the surveillance system.
