‘Quality Edn Needed in Govt Schools’

Deputy chief minister and minister for home affairs Nimmakayala Chinarajappa has revealed that the government is keen to provide quality teaching at government schools.

AMALAPURAM: Deputy chief minister and minister for home affairs Nimmakayala Chinarajappa has revealed that the government is keen to provide quality teaching at government schools.

Participating in the Science Expo-2014 conducted here Wednesday, he said “It is the duty of the teaching fraternity to tap the hidden talent of students in science subjects,” he said.

Saying that the ‘Badi Pilustomdi’ programme was introduced to encourage all children of school going age to join schools, he said that as many as 2,400 child labourers had been admitted to schools under the programme.

Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai, MLC KVV Satyanarayana Raju, MLA Pendurthi Venkatesh, deputy educational officer A Abraham and others were present.
