Two Cops Injured in Stone Throwing

VISAKHAPATNAM: Three persons, including two policemen, were injured as sugarcane farmers resorted to stone throwing at NCS Sugar Factory at Sitanagarm in the district Tuesday.  The farmers alleged that the management owed them `25 crore and not a rupee was paid by it till now. The farmers said they had resorted to the agitation as the district officials turned a deaf ear to all their pleas. Even after this, the farmers alleged that the management did not initiate any talks with them. Police try to broker peace but farmers stuck to their guns. When police did not relent, the farmers resorted to stone throwing breaking the window panes of the factory.
