VIJAYAWADA: South Central Railway will run 18 weekly premium superfast trains between Jaipur and Madurai to clear extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja/Dasara festival season.
Train no 09723 Jaipur-Madurai weekly premium superfast train will depart Jaipur at 1.15 pm on Saturday (Sept 20 and 27, Oct 4, 11, 18 and 25, Nov 1,8 and 15) and arrive Madurai at 11.25 am Monday. It will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 6.40/6.50 pm (Sunday). Train no 09724 will depart Madurai at 06.30 am Tuesday (Sept 23 and 30, Oct 7, 14, 21 and 28, Nov 4, 11 and 18) and arrive Jaipur at 05.00 am Thursday. It will arrive/depart Vijayawada at 11.00/11.10 pm (Tuesday).
Enroute, it will halt at Swai Madhopur, Nagda, Ujjain, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Vijayawada, Gudur, Chennai Central, Jolarpettai Jn., Salem and Tiruchchirappalli stations in both the directions. The trains will consist of 20 coaches in all.
