Caution on Master Plan Road Works

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) vice-chairman (in-charge) MV Satyanarayana has directed the engineers to take up the development of Master Plan roads only after the approval of the Road Development Plan (RDP) to avoid delay and conflicts.

Reviewing the progress of the Master Plan roads and other works of VUDA with engineers Wednesday, the vice-chairman stressed the need for better coordination among local bodies and officials of the concerned departments for finalising the RDP. As the development of Master Plan roads is one of the most important activities of VUDA, the engineers were told to stick to the deadlines.

Discussing the Master Plan roads taken up in the GVMC limits, the vice-chairman said the RDPs for Kommadi, Yendada, Bakkannapalem and Nagarampalem roads were ready with GVMC and the chief engineer was directed to collect and get approvals for implementation of the same.
