Three Arrested for Triple Murder

JANGAREDDUGUDEM: The police arrested three persons and recovered 400 g gold, 2 kg silver, a car, nine bikes, six mobile phones and Rs 1.40 lakh in cash at Aswaraopet in Khammam district of Telangana Sunday.

The accused - D Narayana Rao (47), Gadi Suresh (24) and Kondabattula Brahmaji (27) - were arrested for murdering three pawn brokers - V Anjaneyulu (60) in March, NVS Rao (56) on June 15 and K Krishna Murthi (50) on July 24 this year. All the victims belonged to Jangareddugudem.

Speaking to reporters here, deputy SP AV Subba Raju said that prime accused Narayana Rao had earlier worked as an LIC agent and a realtor. He was debt-ridden in real estate business and obtained loans from the three pawn brokers. When they demanded repayment of the loan amount, they were murdered.  The DSP produced the stolen property at the media conference.
