VISAKHAPATNAM: A one-day training camp on ‘Structural Reinforcement Detailing and Construction Materials’ was organised by Visakha Apartment Builders’ Association (VABA) at Andhra University here Sunday wherein AU civil engineering professors K Rambabu and K Srinivas imparted training to the VABA members, supervisors, masons and road-benders on quality construction. The trainers educated the participants on key points to be followed during construction and concrete mixing were discussed.
A presentation on structural bindings, rod bindings, non-availability of sand and improving quality of product was presented. VABA president P Bogeswara Rao and chairman P Anand Kumar were present.
