2 SSC Students Drown in River

VISAKHAPATNAM: Two Class X students drowned when they went for bathing in the Varaha river at Karrivanipalem under S Rayavaram police station limits in the  district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as DNV Dharma Rao (15) and B Diwakar (15), studying at the government high school went for a dip in the river. The police said that as the water level was high in the wake of recent rains, the victims lost control and drowned. The bodies have been retrieved and sent for postmortem.
