'RINL Must Focus on Achieving Intl Benchmarks'

VISAKHAPATNAM: Former advisor (HRD) of JK Tyre and Industries and chairman of assessment committee of CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence - 2014 VK Sharma highlighted the commitment and loyalty of the employees, leadership credibility, employee involvement schemes, execution of modernisation projects, IT initiatives and thrust on environmental protection as some of the key strengths of RINL.

Addressing the valedictory of the assessment committee meeting here Saturday. Sharma also opined that RINL needs to focus on safety and international benchmarks.

A six-member assessment team, led by VK Sharma, completed its on-site assessment for CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence - 2014. The team had elaborate discussions with CMD, directors, key senior functionaries, select group of customers and suppliers and a cross-section of employees including union representatives from Sept 23 as part of the assessment process.

Chairman-cum-managing director, RINL, P Madhusudan, thanked the team for its rigorous exercise in studying the organisation and helping RINL in its journey towards business excellence. He assured that the company would take the team’s feedback for further improvements and explained the current phase of growth and modernisation efforts going on in the company.
