New Train between Tirupati, Shirdi from January 5

HYDERABAD: As announced by the Ministry of Railways, a new weekly train service between Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi will be introduced with effect from January 5, 2016 from Tirupati and with effect from January 6, 2016 from Sainagar Shirdi.

Minister for Railways, Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu will flag off the inaugural special from Tirupati to Sainagar Shirdi on December 26 at Tirupati Railway Station.

The new weekly express train will come as a big boon for the pilgrim traffic, affording a direct link between two most popular pilgrim destinations - the abode of Lord Balaji, Tirupati with the temple town of Shirdi, home to the sanctum sanctorum of Saibaba. Enroute, the train covers a host of major cities and towns, in addition to offering one more option of travel for the people of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad since the train passes through the city

On its Regular run : Train 17417 Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi weekly express train will depart Tirupati at 07:00 hrs on every Tuesday with effect from January 5, 2016, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 21:00/21:20 hrs and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 12:15 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, Train 17418 Sainagar Shirdi-Tirupati weekly express train will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 19:10 hrs on every Wednesday with effect from January 6, 2016, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 09:25/09:35 hrs the next day and arrive Tirupati at 23:45 hrs.

Inaugural run on December 26: On its Inaugural run, Train 07417 Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi weekly special express will depart Tirupati at 16:30 hrs on (Saturday) tomorrow, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 07:00/07:15 hrs and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 21:00 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train 07418 Sainagar Shirdi-Tirupati weekly special express will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 23:00 hrs on Sunday  December 2015, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 13:20/13:30 hrs  and arrive Tirupati at 04:30 hrs on the next day.

En route, these trains will also stop at Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Nandalur, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Muddanuru, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Tandur, Vikarabad, Lingampalli, Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon and Puntamba stations in both directions. The composition of the train inlcude one ac-2 tier, one ac-3 tier, seven sleeper class, six general second class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches, totaling to 17 coaches.
