VIJAYAWADA: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will launch its Young Indians (Yi) Vijayawada Chapter on Feb 1. It will be inaugurated by CII Vijayawada Zone chairman VVM Krishna.

The Vijayawada will be the 36th chapter of Yi which has pan-India presence and serve as a platform for young professionals to get together and work for nation-building. “The objective of Young Indians is to teach leadership qualities to youngsters and encourage them to be part of nation-building,” says VVM Krishna, who had work for the past six months in preparing the ground for launch of Yi Vijayawada chapter.

He says he took time to motivate young professionals to be part of Yi and Vijayawada chapter will begin with 45 members.

Krishna says the motive behind starting Yi’s Vijayawada chapter is to stop  young people from going to Hyderabad and Bangalore to learn leadership skills and other aspects.
