Project Management Training Begins at RINL

VISAKHAPATNAM: A six-day training programme on ‘International Project Management Association (IPMA) Level-C Certification’ began at Management Development Centre in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) Monday for their project directorate executives. The programme is being facilitated by PMA (India) and was inaugurated by RINL director (Personnel) GBS Prasad.

On the occasion, Prasad stressed the importance of the programme in today’s competitive world. He said that certification programme of this nature would give the participants an edge over others and help improve their project management skills. He exhorted the participants to make the best use of this opportunity and work hard to reduce the delays and cost escalations in projects.

GM (HR) T Sunder explained the various facets of the programme and said that the finer points of ‘project management’ can be observed not only in engineering, but in all spheres of life. He urged the participants to apply the learning from this programme to their workplace.
