Committed to the welfare of backward Communities: Andhra CM

kakinada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his commitment for the welfare of BCs and said efforts are on for ensuring that backward and downtrodden communities are provided employment to ensure `10,000 per month income-levels.

Participating in the swearing -in ceremony of the chairpersons and executive bodies of different BC welfare federations here, on Thursday, he said he is making efforts to ensure traditional occupations are remunerative and the income-levels are on par with other occupations.

He explained about various programme initiated for BC welfare and BC students. He said entrepreneurs from backward classes are being encouraged so they can provide more employment.

BC welfare minister Kollu Ravindra, Information and Publicity minister Palle Raghunath Reddy and others spoke on the occasion.
