Poor amenities in government schools rocks ZP meet

VIZIANAGARAM: ISSUES pertaining to government schools rocked the Zilla Parishad general body meeting here on Wednesday, with the ZP members alleging that several educational institutions in the district reeling under lack of basic amenities.

Members brought to the notice of Zilla Parishad  chairman Sobha Swathi Rani saying that many government schools were yet to have basic facilities such as drinking water supply, toilets among others.

Collector Vivek Yadav asked the officials to ensure that the schools have all the needed amenities at the earliest.
