VISAKHAPATNAM : A 32-year-old TV mechanic, on Monday, was sentenced to imprisonment for four days for drunken driving.
According to the police, Narsinga Rao, a resident of Kancharapalem, was arrested by the Four Town police when they found him driving a vehicle in an inebriated condition at Railway New Colony in city on Monday. The police said that the alcometre has recorded alcohol levels of 447 points which is high resulting in his arrest. He was produced before the Fifth Special Metropolitan Court by SI B Sudhakar when Magistrate M Venkat Rao has awarded four days jail term to the convict.
