VISAKHAPATNAM: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility, Gangavaram Port distributed infrastructure along with note books & stationery to the school students at the neighbouring village of Gangavaram Port.
The Port authorities provided tables, chairs, cupboards, racks & sports kits to the children’s to sit in the class rooms along with tables and chairs for the use of students and teachers.
Notebooks & stationery were given away to as many as 400 school students in Gangavaram High School.
About 150 students of Gangavaram Elementary School and 100 students in Pallepalem (Gangavaram Village) Elementary School in Pedagantyada Mandal also were given books and other stationery by the Port officials.
