Student jumps off train to get his iPhone, sustains injuries

In a shocking incident, an engineering student was seriously injured when he jumped off the running train to get his iPhone.

KADAPA: In a shocking incident, an engineering student was seriously injured when he jumped off the running train to get his iPhone, which had fallen down, while he was talking over phone, at Kuchinavaripalle village in Rajampet mandal of the district on Thursday. According to passengers, Ravi Teja Chowdary is an  engineering at a private college at Putturu in Chittoor district.

He boarded the Venkatadri Express on Thursday morning. He jumped off the running train to get his iPhone, which had fallen down, while he was talking over phone. Noticing this, the passengers informed the matter to 108. The boy was found on the track with head and spinal injuries. Initially, he was shifted to Railway Koduru government hospital and later was shifted to Tirupati for better treatment. The parents of the boy are working in Kuwait. The boy told the police that he jumped off the train to collect his expensive iPhone.
