HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh government has designated A Chandrasekhar Reddy, executive director of APTransco and chief executive officer of the State Energy Conservation Mission (SECM) as media advisor to the energy, infrastructure and investments (I&I) departments, and also the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). Orders to this effect were released on Wednesday.
Chandrasekhar Reddy thanked chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, chief secretary SP Tucker, principal secretary Ajay Jain and APTransco CMD K Vijayanand for the new responsibility.
He will continue to hold his present postings, while discharging the additional responsibility of the media advisor.
During his stint at SECM, he had successfully popularised the energy efficiency activities in the state.
