VIJAYAWADA: Government schools should give a tough competition to private and corporate schools by providing quality education to the students, Ganta Srinivas Rao, Human Resource Development Minister, said at the inauguration of the two-day Headmasters Conference held here on Tuesday.  The conference will discuss on providing quality education at school level. A total of 350 headmasters from across the State are taking part in the conference.

Addressing the gathering, Ganta Srinivas Rao said that all the schools across the state would be enabled with Digital and Virtual classrooms from the academic year 2017. He advised the headmasters to adopt new technology according to the trend.

“HMs play a vital role in the society and they have to come up with best initiatives and implementations at the grass-root level. This would strengthen the government school education system and achieve best results,” the minister said.

He further instructed the headmasters to share their views and ideologies towards providing quality education with all students and compete with private schools.

“After the completion of conference, all the ideas would be discussed with the authorities and an action plan would be finalised,” he said.
