KAKINADA: The Telugu Desam Party is contesting 34 divisions in the Kakinada Municipal Corporation (KMC) elections.
Out of the total 50 divisions in the municipal corporation, elections will be held to 48 divisions on August 29.
The remaining 14 divisions have been allotted to the BJP as part of an electoral alliance. But the TDP has so far announced only nine divisions allotted to the BJP.
The remaining five divisions allotted to the BJP are likely to be finalised soon.
