As on date, 1,080 dengue cases have been registered in all 13 districts of the State, with zero death cases. In Krishna district alone, around 100 dengue cases have been registered. Rural areas like Mylavaram, G Konduru, Jakkampudi etc have registered more cases than any other urban area in the district.
“In every district, we have instructed our teams to conduct door-to-door medical checkups in all rural and urban areas,” said Savithri, State Nodal officer.

The officials clearly stated that no death cases, due to malaria or dengue, have been registered in the district so far and that only Elisa test can confirm the presence of dengue; without that test, it cannot be notified as dengue.
