Armed reserved constable ‘kills’ self in Karimnagar

A 44-year-old armed reserve constable allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at police headquarters in Karimangar on Saturday. 

KARIMNAGAR: A 44-year-old armed reserve constable allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at police headquarters in Karimnagar on Saturday. 
According to police, Dulam Chandraiah Goud, at around 10.15 am, fired the rifle by placing it below his chin, killing himself instantaneously. Upon hearing the gunshot, headquarters staff rushed to the spot and found the constable’s body lying in a pool of blood. Chandraiah Goud had joined the Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police headquarters on August 1.
