After ‘Jesus call’, woman ends life

 A newly-married woman committed suicide after firmly believing that Lord Jesus was calling her. Some months ago, similarly, a family in Karapa mandal of East Godavari also committed suicide.

YANAM: A newly-married woman committed suicide after firmly believing that Lord Jesus was calling her. Some months ago, similarly, a family in Karapa mandal of East Godavari also committed suicide. In this part of the area, many believers of Christ don’t use medicines for life-threatening diseases like heart attack, BP, diabetes and others by hearing sermons of Pastors. Committing suicide is climax in such cases.  
Addanki Devi (20) belonging to Georgepet of Tallarev mandal of Mummidivaram constituency committed suicide by hanging herself with a chunni in her house on Tuesday around 9 am. Tallarev MRO and magistrate Loda Joseph told the media that Devi was a strong Christian believer. Second daughter of daily wagers Addanki Venkata Ramana and Satyaveni, Devi married Kakinada-based Yalla Satyamurthy, an auto driver on November 25 at Georgepeta. 

Believing that after marriage she could not serve the Lord, she made a suicide bid 15 days ago, according to her relatives. Even after marriage, she told her family members that Jesus was asking her to leave the body.
