More than 25 partying youngsters in Andhra village held in raid

All the youngsters were in an inebriated condition and some of them scantily dressed when the raid took place.

ELURU: A police team, led by Ganapavaram Circle Inspector N Durga Prasad, arrested 26 youngsters, including 10 girls, after conducting a raid on China Murthy Raju guest house at Amudalapalli village in Nidamarru mandal in the early hours of Monday, while they were partying.

All the youngsters were in an inebriated condition and some of them scantily dressed when the raid took place. It was learnt that some youngsters hailing from the rich and influential families, brought young girls from Hyderabad and Vijayawada for the party. Giriraju, a local, organised it.

A sum of Rs 1 lakh cash, a music system, condom packets and other material were seized in the raid. The arrested youngsters were shifted to Nidamarru police station.

Later, the youngsters were produced in the Additional Junior First Class Magistrate Court at Tadepalligudem.

Giriraju and Chintalapati China Murthy Raju, owner of the guest house, are at large.

The arrested girls were shifted to Swadhar Home through the ICDS.

Nidamarru Sub-Inspector M Veerababu, Ganapavaram SI D Harikrishna and others also took part in the raid.
