VISAKHAPATNAM : Hosts Visakhapatnam registered their first win beating Krishna by winning the inaugural match of the 7th edition of Andhra Pradesh inter-district senior Men Hockey Championship with a superb 4-0 at Port Stadium here on Saturday.
The first two goals right in the first half came through the hands of P Ramesh and M Raju. Meanwhile, Kadapa team stole the show as they registered a massive victory over Prakasam by 22-0.
Kadapa’s finest player Uday Deepu stood top by scoring 10 goals. In another match, Anantapur has beaten Srikakulam by 13-0.
