HYDERABAD:A day after Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration minister P Narayana’s son, Nishith and his friend Raja Ravi Varma died in a road mishap, the Jubilee Hills police registered a case under negligent driving on Thursday. The Jubilee Hills police said they registered a case under Sec 304 (A) (negligent driving causing to death) against Nishith, who was allegedly driving the car when the accident took place.

“The post mortem report is yet to be collected from the OGH mortuary. Based on that, we will submit a report to the court. As both are dead, the case will be closed,” police said.
In the preliminary report, police said that it was clearly a case of negligent driving and overspeeding. Police reportedly collected CCTV footage and stated that the car was being driven by Nishith during the accident.
