393 get employment in Visakhapatnam job mela

VISAKHAPATNAM: Sports and Law minister Kollu Ravindra asked youth to improve their industry-related skills to achieve good jobs. He and R & B minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu were the chief guests at the ‘Job Mela’ held at the Government Degree College premises of Chodavaram on Saturday. On the occasion, Ravindra explained that as per the directions of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the government had established skill development training centres at all district headquarters.

All the young aspirants were provided skill development training free of cost up to three months. All the youngsters have to utilise the training and get good jobs in  future. “Nowadays, only skilful persons are getting suitable jobs. Due to lack of these extra skills many youth are denied jobs.

Ayyannapatrudu, in his address, lauded all the youngsters who performed well in the job mela and got offer letters. “We are very happy about the performance of  our youth. As many as 393 candidates out of the total 937 who  attended the mela got jobs in 20 companies. They all received appointment/offer letters.  
MP M Srinivas Rao, MLA KSNS Raju, ZP chairperson L Bhavani and AP State Skill Development Corporation manager PB Srinivas were present.
