Body of Andhra bangle seller found in cashew garden 

The body of a 38-year-old man was found in a cashew garden near Sudikonda Colony in the limits of Palasa municipality on Saturday. 

SRIKAKULAM: The body of a 38-year-old man was found in a cashew garden near Sudikonda Colony in the limits of Palasa municipality on Saturday. 

The deceased has been identified as Koppala Suneel Kumar, a resident of Sudikonda Colony. According to Palasa police, Suneel used to sell bangles to earn his living.

On Friday, he, along with his wife Sushela, went to Kanitivuru in Nandigam mandal to attend a marriage party. Leaving his wife at the marriage function, he returned to his brother’s house at Shivaji Nagar in Palasa and stayed there for the night.

On Saturday morning, his body with injuries all over was found in a cashew garden. His face was crushed. Upon information, the family members rushed to the sport and lodged a complaint at Palasa police station.

Police took Suneel’s brother Ram Kumar into custody and started investigation, Palasa CI Ashok Kumar said. The body has been shifted to hospital for post-mortem.

Suneel has two daughters and both are married.
