TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to issue tokens for Sarva Darshan (free darshan) also. The new initiative gives scope to the pilgrims who opted for free darshan, to have time-slot, on par with devotees of other time-slot darshans. Though other time-slots have certain prescribed timings, according to the Arjitha Sevas to the Lord, Sarva Darshan will be round the clock.

According to the given time, devotees can enter the queue complex for darshan and they need not wait in the Queue Complex well in advance with the implementation of the token system. For that, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal  has instructed the officials to establish exclusive Sarva Darshan counters. The counters will issue tokens according to the instructions of Vaikuntam Queue Complex, AEO and temple authorities. So, all the counters will have to function under the Queue Complex as per the new initiative.

Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju along with engineering officials, inspected some places on the hill shrine to set up Sarva Darshan counters. He inspected the area before PAC 2, Madhava Nilayam and Sannidhanam on Wednesday evening. He directed SE II Ramachandra Reddy to set up as many counters as possible at various places in Tirumala for the convenience of common pilgrims by the first week of December.VGO Ravindra Reddy, EEs Srinivasulu, Ramakrishna, Prasad, DE Electrical Saraswati and others were present.
