YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has said that he will implement ban on liquor in a phased manner after coming to power in the State in the next elections.

KADAPA:YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has said that he will implement ban on liquor in a phased manner after coming to power in the State in the next elections.On the last day of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Kadapa district on Monday, the YSRC chief said that every eligible SC, ST, BC and minority person will receive pension at 45 years of age.

“We will announce a BC committee in another 3 to 4 days which will tour every constituency to elicit suggestions on welfare schemes. The committee will function simultaneously as I undertake the padayatra. After my 6 -month-long padayatra, the YSRC will hold a BC Garjana and draft a BC declaration,” he said, while addressing people in various villages of Duvvur mandal of Mydukur Assembly constituency.
Stating that village secretariats will ensure that any request or application with regard to all schemes of YSRC in the new regime will be processed within 72 hours, he appealed to the people to give their suggestions. Your inputs will help me to govern better and ensure BC communities across the State are content, he added.

Alleging that the ruling TDP talks of love for BCs was false, he wanted the Yadavas to remember the regime of his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who provided insurance for livestock.“YSR strove for education for all, he therefore brought in fee reimbursement scheme. TDP today is giving only 30 per cent of fee amount which is not adequate in any way. Once coming to power, the YSRC will waive off entire fee amount for engineering and medical students, additionally `20,000 will be given to every eligible poor student for mess and hostel expenses annually,” he said.Amma Odi scheme will ensure that a mother who sends her children to school will be granted `15,000 annually, he promised.
