Andhra Pradesh: Schoolgirl beaten up by teacher sustains mild fracture

The teacher beat their daughter Pooja Pallavi severely on hand because she couldn’t do submit her homework allotted the previous day.

VISAKHAPATNAM: A six-year-old girl sustained a mild fracture after she was allegedly beaten up by her school teacher in Vaddadi of Butchayyapeta mandal, Vizag on Monday.  

According to the parents, the teacher beat their daughter Pooja Pallavi severely on hand because she couldn’t do submit her homework allotted the previous day.

“Pallavi was sent back home after she complained of pain,” the parents said.

Noticing her swollen hands, the parents took her to the hospital, where they were informed that the girl has sustained a mild fracture on her hand due to beating.

The police are inspecting about the incident, Buthayyapeta Sub-Inspector K Krishna Rao said.
