KAKINADA: Sri Paripoornananda Swamy, head of Sri Peetham, on Wednesday censured Prof Kancha Ilaiah for writing a book against Arya Vysyas. Speaking to newsmen here, he said Vysyas are part of Chaturvarna Vyavastha of Hinduism.

“Prof Ilaiah is not an authority to make comments on Vysyas who are integral part of Chaturvarna Vyavastha. An inquiry should be conducted into the source of finance for publication of his book. A case should also be registered against the publishers for publishing the controversial book which disturbs the communal harmony,” he said.

The Seer described the book as a plot by some foreign forces to disturb the social fabric. Prof Ilaiah who wrote books against Brahmins earlier, seems to have targeted Chaturvarna Vyavastha by coming up with another one against Vysyas. The evil designs of Prof Ilaiah should be thwarted, he said.
