Andhra Pradesh: Special Category Status panel throws weight behind YSR Congress chief Jagan

YSR Congress (YSRC) president and Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy has said that his party will continue its agitation for Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh. 

GUNTUR: YSR Congress (YSRC) president and Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy has said that his party will continue its agitation for Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.  He continued his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the Guntur-East Assembly constituency, covering Narakoduru, Vejandla and other villages in Guntur district on Wednesday.

The Pratyeka Hoda Samithi and Vibhajana Hameela Samithi leaders met Jagan during his lunch-break. Jagan demanded that the State government cancel cases registered by the AP police against agitators for SCS.Samithi leader Chalasani Srinivas said, “We will support the YSRC MPs who will go on an indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi after resigning from their posts.”
