Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan raps TDP, Opposition for milking issues in Andhra Pradesh

The Lok Satta founder further said, 'Whether a person is CM or PM, he  represents everyone and should not be limited to his own party.'

VIJAYAWADA: Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan has found fault with the ruling and the Opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh for failing to wage a united fight to protect the rights of the State and using the issues for electioneering instead.

Speaking to mediapersons in Vijayawada on Tuesday, Jayaprakash Narayan said when it is a matter pertaining to interests of the State, everyone, irrespective of the party they belong to, should come together and strive to find a solution to the problem.

“Political rivalry should be limited to elections and when the interests of the State are at stake, such differences should be kept aside. Unfortunately, it is not happening and with an eye on the election, the political parties are engaged in one-upmanship game to claim credit,” he said.

The Lok Satta founder further said, “Whether a person is CM or PM, he  represents everyone and should not be limited to his own party. Those occupying such posts should be broad-minded in their outlook and think of the interests of all people.”
